I think I found a solution. One big problem for me was that my new ISP wouldn’t allow relaying from other e-mail addresses which basically meant I couldn’t send mail from any e-mail address other than the one they gave me…and I hate to be tied to an ISP e-mail address. I’ve been using gmail, but I really prefer a client on the machine, not web based mail. That was one of the biggest reasons I was going to get the .Mac account. Well, I found out yesterday that I can actually use my gmail account for outgoing as well as incoming in AppleMail (sorry if that is too much geek talk for some of you
). I already love SmugMug for my photos, am happy with my blog and don’t have iLife ‘08 so I can’t use the new Mac Web Gallery (which looks AWESOME) so I think I shall just stick with what I have. I did downsize my storage some which will also downsize my bill

We went to our first football game last night and I didn’t get any pictures. I know, what’s wrong with me? Well, hey, we had a great time and there will be other opportunities for photos. Still getting used to small town life, six man football is different, but fun. The game was called when we passed a 45 point spread, but it was in the fourth quarter before that happened. I found out how to get Bailey the little cheerleading uniform the little girls wear and they also have a place where parents can order little football jerseys for the boys. Is that fun or what? So, I’ll be all over that next week. Oh, and the booster club president mentioned that they are still taking design ideas for this year’s football shirt. “Are you creative?” she asked me…um, yeah, a little, LOL. So, I’m going to see what I can come up with this week. If you’ve seen any really cool ones that might inspire me, feel free to share!
I’m brainstorming ideas for classes & projects to do at the LSS. I’m doing some quick pages for the ScrapPink weekend so that will give me a chance to meet some people and see how they feel about it. The store owner is excited and very willing to have digital in her store. I am thinking of doing a CD calendar and some mini albums. I don’t know that you can just do a layout class or crop, I’m not sure that people would want to do that digitally like they do with paper, but I will be asking questions and trying to figure out what I can do to get a good number of participants. Hopefully, within a few months of doing this (and I may get to do some projects at a second LSS as well), I can save up for the MacBook I am wanting, but until then, I will just pack up my beautiful iMac and take it. For those who don’t know this, an iMac is an all in one, there’s no tower, so it’s really not a huge deal to pack it up and take it…and it’s sooo pretty

I just realized I didn’t share any first day of school pics…so here are a few.
They decided they wanted to ride the bus. The bus is another great story. It’s tiny and the lady who drives it is just like someone’s grandmother, she’s just a doll. So, I take them in the morning and they ride the bus home. Here’s day one:

Here they are in class on the first day:

Don’t they look soooo grown up? I didn’t cry, though, I was very proud of myself. The frames are by Jessica Bolton and are available at SBG, by the way.
Here’s a layout I did last night with some of the first day pics.

Okay, I should get moving now…have a great Sunday!
