aren’t they?  I mean no offense to my newer internet friends, but there’s no one like that friend that you’ve known practically all your life.  Mine lives about 2 hours away and I hadn’t seen her in 2 years until tonight.  I was so happy when she said she and her boyfriend were coming over to see us.  The kiddos went to Granny’s and we had a fabulous dinner, her boyfriend seems like an awesome guy and I just enjoyed this evening so much.  Bless her heart, she has had some rough times, but I think she’s really happy now and I am so happy for her.

I gotta get to bed, I have so much to do tomorrow, but I just wanted to get this down while the feeling is fresh.  I love you, Terri, and it was so good to see you!  Let’s make it a more regular thing, k?

Now, I really don’t plan to talk alot here about this stuff because I’m going to be covering it over there. my program at school.  We finished up the second term last week and started a new one this week.  Ethics, Technology & Science.  To be honest, I prefer the Programming classes, but this stuff is okay.  I did come out of Programming II with an A so I have kept my 4.0 through another class…yay .

It should be a nice day here, today so hopefully the kiddos will play outside and let me work at DH’s office.  I have the hardest time getting things done there with them inside, they’re a huge distraction and then I make mistakes and then DH gets mad at me and it’s just not cool.  I will so miss them when they go to school, but for this reason, I do think it will be a good thing.  I will be able to concentrate on work and DH has always said that if my work is done, he doesn’t care if I do other stuff at the office.  I have Photoshop down there, so I can even design and scrap, but the work has to be done.  He has his first production sale coming up next month so there’s tons to do and he’s pretty stressed out about it, so for the next couple of months, I really need to concentrate on work which is hard because of my new studio at Scrapbook Graphics .  I really want to get my stuff repackaged and ready to put up there, but it’s slow going.  Not only am I repackaging, but I’m going through and adding some things, reworking a few elements because I feel I do them better now, etc…  It definitely takes time, but I’ll get it done  If you’d like to see what I’ve gotten done so far (which isn’t much), you can see it at my news blog.

Speaking of time, I think I’ll take a little time to get to work on my Just a Boy kit, it’s next in line to be reworked.  I used it in a layout for my “I Can Scraplift That!” challenge this week at Scrapbook Graphics…come on over and play along!
