This is the busy time of year. Well, usually, my husband is really busy in the summer, but the lack of rain this year cut down the hay crop so much that he only baled once. But, now, there are all kinds of sales and he’s also starting to have some calves born. In fact, he had one that is a real whopper in the Angus world. He doesn’t know that I even pay attention and, I admit that I pay less than I should sometimes, but I am proud of him and so happy that he is finally having the opportunity to do what he really wants to do.
Anyway, he’s going to Missouri to pick up a cow he bought tonight so me and the babes will have feeding duty tonight. Not hard, really, because he already handled the hay part. We just have to fill a few feed buckets and dump them out in a few different pens. So, we’ll be loading up in the Gator and doing some ranch work, tonight. Oh, gosh, and I have some major catching up to do in the homework department. Survey of Calculus…sound fun? Yeah, well, I had a statistics test last week so I got a little behind on my Calculus homework and now have to catch up and get ready for a test on Thursday. Needless to say, I won’t be doing much scrapping or designing before next weekend.
Oh, our 11th Wedding Anniversary was Saturday. Man, I can’t believe it’s been eleven years! Wow! So we went out to dinner and then, as is customary whenever we go to dinner without the babies (which isn’t very often) we went to…WalMart! Yes, WalMart…sad, huh? Well, let me tell you, when you have two 4 year olds, a trip to WalMart without them is actually a real treat! Plus, I found a new Scrap Mag, Scrapbook Answers, which came with a CD with some pretty cool fonts on it from Font Garden…actually not free fonts, either, but some that are sold in the shop. There were a few others on there from other places, too…I probably got about 20 fonts off of the CD that I’ll use plus some cute layouts in the magazine so it was a worthwhile investment.
Okay, well, the kiddos want to go outside now, so I’m going to close with a photo of me and my hubby on our wedding day…

Oh, and on another note, I contacted a paper maker this morning via e-mail to see what the chance was of doing a paper line and she said she definitely wants to talk to me. It’s a pretty small one right now, but close to me geographically and it seems to be growing, so we’ll see what comes of it.
Okay, off to feed the cows now…have a great night!
